B-MOVIE OF THE MONTH - GULAG (TV 1985)

This month B-Movie Gazette dives into the prison genre and who doesn't like a good prison flick? Gulag is an extremely well-produced TV movie originally made for HBO before wandering out to obscurity-land. David Keith is in top form as a sportscaster and while covering an event in Moscow is framed by the KGB. Unable to prove his innocence a prison escape is now inevitable, just how will he do it? Malcolm McDowell co-stars, this is a good one folks! 2.75 stars/2.75

NEW "MEGALOPOLIS" (2024) TRAILER - ADAM DRIVER IS JUMPING OFF THE TOP OF MY BELOVED CHRYSLER BUILDING, HOLY S!

Those of you that may know my fascination with the movie Q and going to the top of the Chrysler Building can imagine my utter shock when I saw this trailer. I had no idea this was a location in the movie, be it physical or allegorical - majorly cool.

Suddenly I have a little more faith in this much talked about spectacle of a movie. Coppola's off to Cannes soon with it, this is going to get interesting!

BLAST FROM THE PAST >> In 2013 urban explorer Moses Gunn did the bold, daring and, to some, enviable stunt of climbing to the top of the crown (but not inside the needle) something that would probably be near impossible to pull off today.
